My progress disappeared

Amber Throne saves your progress on your device, not to an account in the cloud. Uninstalling the game, switching devices, or clearing the app's storage removes it.

Can I move my progress to a new phone?

There is no account or cloud save, so progress does not follow you automatically. If Android's own backup is turned on, Android may carry the saved game across, but we cannot promise that it will. Consumable items such as packs are used up and are not restored; ask us if a purchase went missing. To withdraw ad consent, open the game's privacy options, or reset your advertising ID in Android Settings, Privacy, Ads.

I bought something and did not get it

Purchases are delivered once each. If one did not arrive, email us with the date, the time, your device model, and the Google Play order number from your receipt. Refunds are handled by Google Play.

Do I have to pay or watch ads to play?

No. The game is free to download. When you run out of lives you can watch an optional video for 1 extra life, and when you run out of moves you can watch one for 5 extra moves. You can buy a heart refill or 5 extra moves instead, or wait. There are no ads between levels and no banners. Deeds and cosmetics are earned by playing and are never sold.

An ad did not give me my reward

Rewarded ads are optional and are served through Google AdMob. If an ad fails to load, its button does not appear. If an ad played all the way through and the reward did not arrive, email us with the date, roughly what time it happened, and your device model.

Does it need the internet?

Only for rewarded videos and purchases. The game itself plays offline.

Which devices does it run on?

Android 7.1 or newer on a 64-bit ARM phone. The game plays in portrait. It installs on tablets and foldables, but we have not tested it on one yet, so tell us if something looks wrong there.

The game crashed, or something is broken

Email us with your device model, the version of the game, and what you were doing when it happened. The more specific, the faster we can fix it.
