My reef and progress disappeared

The game saves on your phone, not to an account online. Uninstalling the game, switching phones or clearing the app's storage removes it, and we can't get it back because we never receive a copy.

Can I move my reef to a new phone?

There is no account or cloud save, so progress does not follow you. If Android's own backup is turned on it may carry the saved game across, but we can't promise that it will. Remove Ads and the Starter bundle can be restored from the Shop.

I bought something and did not get it

Open the Shop and use Restore purchases for Remove Ads and the Starter bundle. Rewinds are consumable and can't be restored. If something is still missing, email us with the date, your phone model and the Google Play order number from your receipt. Refunds are handled by Google Play.

What does Remove Ads do?

It turns off the banner and the full-screen ads between games, for good, on your Google Play account. The optional rewarded videos stay, and you only see one if you tap it.

When do ads appear?

A small banner shows at the bottom while you play. A full-screen ad can show between games, never in your first three games and no more than once every three minutes. Ads never interrupt a move.

How do I change my ad choices?

In Europe, the UK and Switzerland, open the Shop and tap Privacy options to see Google's consent message again. Anywhere, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings, Privacy, Ads. The privacy policy explains what the ad software collects.

I saw an inappropriate ad

Email us what the ad showed and roughly when you saw it, with a screenshot if you have one. Ads come from Google AdMob, and we can block types of ads in its settings.

How do I delete my data?

We hold no data about you, so there is nothing for us to delete. To remove the game's saved reef, uninstall the game, or open Android Settings, Apps, Glowtide, Storage, and choose Clear storage.

Does it need the internet?

Only for ads and purchases. The game plays offline.

Which phones does it run on?

Android 7.0 or newer on a 64-bit ARM phone. It plays in portrait.

The game crashed, or something is broken

Close the game and open it again, and make sure the game and your phone are up to date. If it keeps happening, email us with your phone model, the version of the game and what you were doing.
